We help people of every age feel seen, supported, and hopeful.

Hope Missions is a nonprofit tutoring and support program for kids, teens, adults, and families who need it most.

Our story

Hope Missions grew out of Hope Coders, where we teach kids to code. Over time, we saw a bigger need. Kids needed help with school and someone to talk to. Parents and other adults wanted to learn new skills too. And many people just needed a steady place to belong.

So we started Hope Missions as a nonprofit sister to Hope Coders. We still teach coding, and we go further: tutoring in other subjects, caring mentors, and support for families, for learners of every age.

Our mission

We help people of every age learn, grow, and feel seen. Through free tutoring in coding and school subjects, caring mentors, and steady encouragement, we stand beside learners and families who are going through a lot.

Our vision

A world where everyone, at every age, has the support they need to learn, grow, and hope.

Our values

Our values come from the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). They shape how we treat every learner, family, and volunteer. You don't need to share our faith to be welcome here.

  • Love

We care about the whole person, not just their grades.

  • Joy

Learning should be fun. We celebrate every small win.

  • Peace

We keep our spaces calm, safe, and predictable.

  • Patience

Everyone learns at their own pace, and that's okay.

  • Kindness

We speak gently and treat everyone with respect.

  • Goodness

We do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

  • Faithfulness

We keep showing up, week after week. People can count on us.

  • Gentleness

We guide with care, never with shame.

  • Self-control

We model healthy choices and help others build them too.

Our connection to Hope Coders

Hope Coders is a business that teaches kids to code. Hope Missions is its nonprofit sister. We share the same heart for people and the same fun, patient way of teaching.

Hope Coders serves families who sign up for coding classes. Hope Missions reaches people of all ages who might not be able to, and adds tutoring in other subjects, mentorship, and family support.

Hope Missions is its own nonprofit organization. Gifts to Hope Missions support Hope Missions programs.
