Your story is yours

What you share with us stays private. Only the people who need to know to help your family will see it.

How we keep families safe

  • We never share your location, contact details, or schedule with anyone, including family members, without your permission.
  • You tell us the safest way and time to reach you. We only use that method.
  • We won't leave voicemails or messages unless you tell us it's okay.
  • We never post photos, names, or stories of survivor families.
  • If you have a protective order, you can share it with us so we can help keep your child safe at our programs.

When we may have to share information

There are a few times we may have to share information without your permission:

  • If we believe a child is being abused or neglected. We are required by law to report it.
  • If someone is in immediate danger.
  • If a court orders us to.

Keeping records

We keep as little information as we can, store it securely, and delete it when we no longer need it.

We're not a crisis service

Hope Missions is a tutoring and mentoring program, not a shelter or crisis line. For safety planning and support, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233, text START to 88788, or visit thehotline.org. If you are in danger, call 911.
