The short version

  • We only collect what we need to help your family.
  • We never sell, rent, or trade your information.
  • We don't use analytics, ads, or tracking cookies on this website.
  • We take extra care with information about children.

What we collect

  • Information you give us in a form, like your name, how to contact you, the learner's age group, and what help you're looking for.
  • Anything else you choose to share with us by email, phone, or in person.
  • Donation details. Payments are handled by our payment provider. We don't see or store full card or bank numbers.
  • Basic technical information, like your IP address, that our website host may keep for a short time to keep the site secure.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

This website is meant for parents, guardians, and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

Our forms ask a parent or guardian to share information about their child. If we learn that a child under 13 has sent us personal information without a parent's consent, we will delete it.

Parents and guardians can ask to see, correct, or delete their child's information at any time by contacting us.

When children take part in our programs, we only collect what we need to teach and keep them safe, and only with a parent or guardian's permission.

How we use your information

  • To answer your questions and requests.
  • To match you or your child with a tutor or mentor.
  • To keep everyone in our programs safe, especially children.
  • To send updates or receipts you've asked for.

Who we share it with

Only the people who need it. That includes Hope Missions staff and approved volunteers working with your family, and service providers that help us run things (like our form, email, and payment services). They must keep your information private.

We may share information if the law requires it, or if we believe a child or another person is in danger. See our Confidentiality and Survivor Safety Policy for details.

Settings saved in your browser

If you change the text size or turn on dark mode, that choice is saved only in your own browser so the site remembers it. It is never sent to us.

How we protect your information

We limit who can see your information, use secure services, and delete information we no longer need. No system is perfect, but we work hard to keep your information safe.

Your choices

  • Ask to see the information we have about you or your child.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time.
